I. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  1. Locate potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities.
  2. Close new business deals by coordinating requirements with other Refico Teams; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  3. Interface with existing strategic partners to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth.
  4. Pro-actively hunt for target partners and establish communications with those businesses that can benefit from Refico’s services.
  5. Coordinate with other departments in order to successfully generate a pipeline of deals.
  6. Liaise with Refico Investment Team to:

a) Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.

b) Identify and evaluate potential properties for acquisition, negotiate, secure acquisition and in some cases plan for disposal.

c) Determine market and financial feasibility of new real estate opportunities.

d) Identify project funding sources and resources; prepare funding and grant application proposals and other needed tasks for the project.

II. LIAISON WITH AUTHORITIES

  1. To develop relationships and liaison with the Government Authorities.
  2. To organize and facilitate meetings with Government Authorities.
  3. Liaising with various Statutory/Government Authorities.
  4. Cooperate with Government Departments and other Refico Teams to obtain all kinds of approvals for all projects assigned.
  5. Liaise with the Refico Legal Team to understand and build appropriate legal procedures and action plans applicable for each new project.
  6. Prepare approval papers for relevant parties as well as documents for project application.

III. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  1. Liaise with internal Refico teams and external consultants where necessary to conduct feasibility studies, including market, design, construction, and financial aspects of potential projects.
  2. Lead the pre-development process for some assigned projects which includes but is not limited to market and site identification, contract negotiations, zoning / rezoning, deal structuring, relationship building / management with both internal and external partners, etc.
  3. Managing, overseeing and reporting activities from project inception to completion to achieve efficient, timely execution in a cost-effective manner while upholding high quality.
  4. Prepare and develop project plans & budget and specified timeframes to present to the Management Board for approval.
  5. Overseeing all consultants and contractors as well as other third relevant parties to ensure that comply with authority requirements to achieve submission and approval.
  6. Managing the permitting / authority approval process – overseeing & coordinating all internal / external resources and agencies.
  7. Monitoring & managing prerequisite site development activities and enabling works until handed over to the construction contractor(s).

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Outstanding communication skills; ability to express thoughts and articulate ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively in both written and oral forms.
  2. Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize high workloads efficiently.
  3. Ability to work independently and with other team members
  4. Ability to develop strong and effective relationships across the organization, with service providers, industry networks, Government and Authority Departments.
  5. Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
