THE NEXUS ACHIEVES EDGE-CERTIFIED CERTIFICATION

On May 15, 2024, The Nexus proudly celebrated its reception of the prestigious EDGE-Certified certification, a globally recognized mark of green building excellence.

The event took place at The Nexus, located at 3A-3B Ton Duc Thang Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, featuring distinguished guests, including company leadership and partners.

During the ceremony, the IFC representative – the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group – shared insights into the essential criteria for a building to achieve EDGE-Certified status and provided updates on global trends in green office spaces.

The EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) green building certification, an initiative by the IFC, assists businesses in optimizing resource efficiency for their properties. EDGE certification ensures that buildings save at least 20% in energy, water, and the energy used to manufacture building materials. The Nexus has surpassed these benchmarks, achieving 21% energy savings, 30% water savings, and a 23% reduction in embodied energy in building materials.
