DUTIES

1. Report directly to and work closely with the Construction Manager and Project Manager. Support the Project Director by performing assigned duties proactively, on-time and thoroughly.
2. Manage and oversee work sites, coordinating site activities and assuring that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in phase with the project goals and objectives
3. Oversee and provide direction to main contractor (MC), subcontractors (Subcon), suppliers and Construction management & supervision consultant (CMCS) when doing substructure (deep basements) & superstructure construction works, ensuring quality standards are met
4. On behalf of the Owner, review / responses / advises all RFIs, RFAs come from main contractor & construction management consultant on-time
5. Responsible for achieving the requirements of the approved construction program.
6. Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues
7. Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements
8. Attend coordination and site progress meetings; make regular trips to sites during construction from beginning until close-out, handover stage.
9. Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, assuring working environment is maintained at acceptable levels, and tools and equipment are in good working condition
10. Maintain and update SOW and monitor contract obligations with a goal of building relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
11. Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions
12. Contribute to internal management reports. Prepare reports as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or related field
2. 10+ years experience in construction, in which 5+ years management of high-rise building
3. Fluent in VN and conversant in English within Skills
4. Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts
5. Experience with buildings of deep basements (>3) and Working knowledge of green building practices (LEED) to be preferred
6. Knowledge of building code requirements and fire regulations
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality
