JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications

  • University degree in law from a reputable university.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of law on land and housing, foreign investment, enterprise, etc.
  • Minimum 6-year experience as an in-house legal counsel in a multinational corporation or an associate in a law-firm.
  • Having rich experience in handling leasing and commercial agreements for office building projects is an advantage.

  • Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to recognize needs, solve problems, anticipate issues and develop solutions; excellent business judgement and strategic thinking.

 Key Responsibilities

  1. Negotiate and draft offer to lease, lease agreement for office building projects and monitor execution of these agreements.
  2. Negotiate and draft sale and purchase agreement, booking agreement, long term lease agreement, etc. for residential projects and monitor execution of these agreements.
  3. Provide risk assessment and legal advices on company operational and projects.
  4. Handle regulatory issues including governmental filings, licenses, approvals and registration of the company and project.
  5. Negotiate, review and draft contracts, corporate documents and other legal documents of the company.
  6. Negotiate disputes with purchaser, vendors, tenants, and other parties as needed and handle numerous legal matters arising from sales and lease of residential and office building projects.
  7. Participate in due diligence process, transactions, and coordinate of drafting definitive transaction agreements.
